Entry requirements

For admission to any of our online courses, one of the following is required.

  • If you have completed Year 12 in the past 2 years, you will need a 50+ ATAR score with a Units 3 & 4 study score of at least 25 in English, or
  • An equivalent academic level achievement, or
  • At least one year of work experience, after leaving school

All students are required to undergo the online Pre-enrolment Assessment and achieve a pass mark of 60%.

Outline

IT is continuing to be one of the fastest-growing industries today with no sign of slowing down. Every business in every industry is IT-dependent for virtually every aspect of their operations. This course provides a generalist education in information technology (IT), and the opportunity to explore focus areas in information systems, software development, computer networks and web development. The structure of this course enables you to combine online studies with early entry to the workforce while continuing online study. The course is applied in its focus and its options include IT certifications that are relevant to employment. Designed with a high employability focus, graduates will fit roles that bridge the gap between technical and management personnel.
